Guess The Movie ("the game") is a movie-guessing game for Android made by EDKA Studio ("we", "us").
This policy explains what information the game collects, why, who it is shared with, and the
choices you have. Questions: edkagames@gmail.com.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
Player name. The nickname you type when you first open the game. It is shown to
other players (see "Ghost rivals" below). Please do not use your real full name or any other
personal detail as your nickname.
Information created while you play
The game signs you in with an anonymous account (Firebase Authentication). We do
not ask for an email address, phone number or password. The anonymous account has a random user
ID, and the following is stored under it:
Game progress: points, tier, streak, statistics, achievements, solo-mode
records and career stars, daily puzzle results, duel match history, and the list of movies you
have already seen (so they are not repeated).
Play recordings: for each round, the order and timing of your actions (which
scenes you revealed, when you guessed, whether the guess was right), your nickname, tier and the
result. These recordings are used to create "ghost rivals".
Anonymous movie statistics: counters of how many players saw and solved each
movie. These are totals and are not linked to you.
Information collected by our service providers
Advertising: the game shows an optional rewarded video ad when you choose to
unlock a hint. Google AdMob may collect your device's advertising ID, IP address, device and app
information, and ad-interaction data to show, measure and personalise ads.
Images: movie scenes and posters are loaded from third-party image servers.
Like any web request, these servers receive your IP address and basic device information.
What we do not collect
We do not collect your location, contacts, photos, camera or microphone data, or payment
information. The game has no in-app purchases and no crash-reporting or analytics tool of its own.
2. How we use information
To run the game: save your progress, show your stats and achievements, and avoid repeating movies.
Ghost rivals: in Duel mode you race a recording of another player's earlier
play of the same movie. Your own recordings, together with your nickname and tier, may be shown
to other players in the same way.
To show the percentage of players who solved a movie.
To show ads that keep the game free.
We do not sell your personal information.
3. Sharing
Google Firebase (Authentication and Realtime Database) stores the game data
described above on Google's servers. See Google's privacy policy.
Other players can see your nickname, tier and play recordings as ghost rivals.
Sharing you start: if you tap "Share" on a daily result, the text is sent to the
app you choose. We do not see it.
We may disclose information if required by law.
4. Advertising choices
Watching an ad is always optional; hints are the only place ads appear.
You can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of ad personalisation, in
Settings → Google → Ads on your Android device (wording varies by device).
5. Data retention and deletion
Game data is kept for as long as your anonymous account exists.
Uninstalling the game deletes the data stored on your device, but not the data stored on our
servers. Because the account is anonymous, it cannot be restored after uninstalling.
To delete your server data, follow the steps on

with the subject "Delete my data" and your player name. We delete your profile, progress, match
history and play recordings within 30 days. Anonymous movie totals are not linked to you and are
not affected.
6. Children
The game is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal
information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has provided a nickname or data, contact
us and we will delete it.
7. Security
Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), and access to the database is restricted by
security rules. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the EU/UK GDPR or Turkey's KVKK), you may have
the right to access, correct or delete your data, to object to its processing, and to complain to
a data-protection authority. To use these rights, contact

9. This website
This website uses no cookies, analytics or trackers. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes
technical request data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the site.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. The new version will be posted at this address with a new effective
date.
